Igniting your Holiday Spirit Under $50: The Chicago Way

Chicago Holiday events are in full swing and we are happy to say we made it. We’ve officially been granted permission to listen to Christmas music, buy our Christmas trees, and channel all things holiday spirit. (Any of you who did it before Thanksgiving are crazy AF!) We are all excited over here at the Holler because the possibilities for getting into the Christmas spirit in Chicago are endless. Here is a narrowed down list to what we think are the coolest ways to get into the Christmas Spirit in Chicago AND for under $50! (P.s—there is booze involved).

Cindy’s Rooftop

cindys rooftop bar

The glass dome of Chicago. Cindy’s is a beautiful rooftop bar that has views for days. Grab an after dinner cocktail and enjoy their enclosed snow globe-esque rooftop or even on their outdoor patio with their toasty fire pits! A snowy evening in the city makes for a perfect holiday date night at Cindy’s. All you have to bring is the mistletoe.

Pop Up Christmas Cocktail Lounge:

the orbit room

We saved the best for last. From now until Dec 24th, The Orbit room in Avondale will be transforming their space into a month-long Christmas themed pop up called “Believe”. Lost Lake, in Logan Square, will also be sportin’ a holiday-themed pop up. We are dying to try their “Merry N’ Bright” cocktail made with Rittenhouse rye, Fernet Branca, Branca menta, demerara, creme de cacao, creme de menthe, and fresh mint: Follow them both on social media for MORE info; we can’t wait to see you there.

Are you convinced yet? For under $50 a person, you can embrace your inner Christmas spirit, drink(s) in hand, Chicago style. Thank us later.

Cheers!
